Delete your account.

Pet Care Journal is preparing for public release. If you have an online account through a test build, you can contact the operator for deletion help.

Request deletion outside the app

Email hello@bakuapps.com with the subject “Pet Care Journal account deletion”. If possible, write from the email linked to your Pet Care Journal account and say whether you want to delete the account or need help with an in-progress deletion.

If you cannot access that email or sign in, say so. BakuApps will respond about account verification and next steps. A request must be verified before account data is removed; sending the email does not immediately delete anything.

Never send your password or sign-in codes.

We do not need sign-in tokens, invitation codes, exports, photos, or private pet-care content to receive your request.

Delete from a supported app build

  1. Open Settings, then Privacy & Data.
  2. Choose Delete online account.
  3. Sign in again with the same Google or Apple account.
  4. Review who and what will be affected, then confirm.

The app records deletion progress and checks for confirmed server completion before clearing this device. If the process is interrupted, reopen the app to check progress. If these controls are missing from your test build, use the email route above.

What the deletion flow removes

Household owner

Deleting an owner’s account deletes the whole online household, including its shared records, for all members. Export anything you want to keep before confirming.

Caregiver

Deleting a caregiver account removes the account and identifying attribution. Retained household care history is labelled “Deleted caregiver”, with that author’s notes removed. Other household members’ independently written content remains.

This device and other copies

After verified completion, the app removes its data, photos, reminders, and unsynced changes from the requesting device. Previously downloaded data can remain on an offline caregiver’s device until it reconnects and access is checked. Copies you exported elsewhere remain under your control at that destination.

Retention and release status

The prepared deletion flow retains a minimal recovery receipt for 30 days after completion. A committed deletion remains pending until it can finish. Production backup and log retention are still being finalized and will be included in the complete app privacy policy before public release.
